Oseltamivir is used to treat symptoms caused by the flu virus (influenza).
For the treatment of flu symptoms such as stuffy nose, cough, sore throat, fever / chills, pain, fatigue which is caused by influenza virus, if these symptoms are less than 2 days. 
Oseltamivir is also prescribes to prevent influenza.
